Heart events and blockers
2 hearts — Becoming Juniper's Guinea Pig: accept the Request Board quest and meet Juniper at the Bathhouse.
4 hearts — Horsing Around: complete the 2-heart event, read Juniper's letter, and return to the Bathhouse. This tier adds Pizza to her player-birthday mail.
6 hearts — Working Like a Dog: complete Horsing Around, read the next letter, and meet Juniper in her Bathhouse room.
8 hearts — Potions and Errands / Confession: complete the earlier events and The Earth Tablet, then deliver 1 Breath of Flame through the active quest. Choose Best Friends or Dating; only Dating continues to proposal.
10 hearts — Proposal: while Dating at 10 hearts, hold an Engagement Ring and choose Discuss. The scene goes to The Summit and awards Juniper's Protection Scroll.
Giving Breath of Flame as an ordinary gift does not satisfy the 8-heart quest. A missing earlier event or unfinished Earth Tablet is another common blocker.
Early Access versus version 1.0
Juniper is not a version 1.0 newcomer. Her relationship cap progressed from 4 hearts at Early Access launch to 6 in v0.12.0 and 8 with Dating or Best Friends in v0.14.0. Version 1.0 adds 10 hearts, proposal, wedding, marriage, children, and post-marriage content.
Marriage and family
Juniper's proposal takes place at The Summit. Supported wedding evidence shows Juniper-specific furniture and Dozy joining the household. Her child is a daughter with the wiki-suggested name Rune, although the player can rename her. A complete married hourly schedule and full event dialogue are not available in the saved sources.
FAQ
Is Void Newt a Loved gift or a special gift?
Both descriptions apply. It belongs in Loved, and its separate mechanic makes it count as a birthday gift for 80 friendship points on any date.
Why is Juniper's 8-heart event not starting?
Complete the earlier Juniper events and The Earth Tablet, then deliver Breath of Flame through the active quest rather than as a normal gift.
Can Best Friends lead to marriage?
Not directly. The saved current sources require choosing Dating at 8 hearts before the 10-heart proposal route.
