How the child route works
Marry one of the 12 romance candidates.
After about two in-game weeks, sleep and watch for the Great Bird dream.
Wake up with the Mystical Feather.
Use the Feather to discuss children with your spouse, or postpone the decision.
Sleep again to trigger the second Great Bird dream.
Choose Great Bird delivery or an available carry route.
Wait about another two in-game weeks and check the Calendar for the arrival date.
Complete the birth or delivery scene and confirm the child’s name.

Great Bird delivery and carry choices
The Great Bird can deliver the child on the scheduled date if you do not want either character to carry the baby.
The player-carry route is available regardless of the player’s pronouns or the spouse’s gender. Female spouses have an additional spouse-carry option; that pregnancy route is also where the six conditional A Craving quests can appear.

The name can be changed, but the child’s gender and base design cannot be selected. Each design also has lighter and darker skin-tone versions linked to the player’s selected skin tone.
Conditional food quests
A Craving appears only when one of the six female spouses carries the child, at 10 Hearts and during the pregnancy window. It is not a universal quest for every route.

After the baby arrives
Your spouse normally carries the baby as part of their household routine. You can take the child from your spouse, carry the baby while moving around or doing ordinary activities, and place the baby in the Baby Cradle when you want to leave the child at home.
The child also adds spouse- and family-specific dialogue. Those lines differ by relationship route, so this guide does not claim that every household receives identical scenes.
Parent achievement and current limits
Have a child to unlock the Parent achievement. Version 1.0.3 improved the reliability of achievements such as Parent appearing at the moment they are earned; update to that version or later before treating an old save as broken.
Version 1.0 supports one child per family, and the infant remains an infant in the verified version. These are current-version limits, not promises about future growth stages or additional children.
Troubleshooting
The Great Bird dream is not triggering
Confirm that you are married, then keep advancing days and sleeping. Treat the wait as about two in-game weeks rather than expecting the dream on one exact universal day number.
The Mystical Feather does nothing
Use the Feather while speaking with your spouse. The player starts the discussion, and choosing to wait does not permanently lock you out.
There is no spouse-carry option
The additional spouse-carry option is documented for female spouses. Use Great Bird delivery or the player-carry route when that option is not presented.
A Craving did not appear
The quest requires the corresponding female spouse to carry the child and must occur during the pregnancy window. It is not available on Great Bird delivery or player-carry routes.
