Use the location column as a first place to check, not as a fixed schedule. Season, weather, weekday, festivals, and story progress can change a candidate's location.
How romance progresses
Talk to candidates and give gifts to build friendship.
Follow heart-event invitations and quest prompts as friendship rises.
At 8 Hearts, choose Best Friends or confess your feelings. Confession is required to start Dating.
Once you are dating, invite a partner to a weekend date.
Continue to 10 Hearts, complete the Engagement Ring route, and propose.
After marriage, the optional Children route can begin.

Dating, multiple partners, and breakups
Dates are available on Saturday and Sunday, with one date per candidate per weekend. You can date multiple candidates at the same time. The saved current guide evidence reports no jealousy mechanics and no rival marriages.
Proposing to one candidate changes the other relationships. With default settings, other partners send breakup letters and become Best Friends. Turning breakup letters off still changes their relationship label to Best Friends, but it removes the letter and follow-up dialogue. Turning breakups off entirely leaves the other dating relationships in place after marriage.
There is no player-initiated divorce in the current verified version. That is a statement about the current system, not a promise about future updates.

This page does not rank a "best" romance candidate. Start with the Character directory for the full 34-character roster, open a published character guide for gifts and schedules, then use the Wedding guide and Children guide for the later systems.
Evidence limit
The candidate roster comes from the official site and the project's cross-checked Characters evidence. Relationship progression and multiple-dating rules come from official patch boundaries plus the saved PC Gamer walkthrough. Exact friendship point totals are omitted because they are not visible in game and have not been independently verified for this page.
Yes. You can date multiple candidates simultaneously. Proposing to one candidate changes the other relationships according to your gameplay settings.
Can Best Friends start dating later?
The saved current guide evidence says no: at the 8 Heart event you must confess your feelings to start Dating. Choosing Best Friends does not open a later switch to Dating.
When can you go on dates?
Dates take place on Saturday and Sunday. Each candidate can be invited on one date per weekend.
Can you break up or divorce?
You cannot initiate a breakup or divorce. Other partners can send breakup letters after you propose to someone else, and gameplay settings can disable those letters or breakups. There is no divorce in the current verified version.
Can you marry in Fields of Mistria?

Are Caldarus and Seridia romanceable?
Yes, but both are story-gated. This page keeps their detailed identities and unlock routes out of the main table to avoid an unopened spoiler.
